In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Security Orchestration Automation & Response (SOAR) systems across a variety of modern toolsets. This position is remote, but preference will be given to candidates located on the U.S. East Coast to align with team collaboration and customer support hours.Role and responsibilities:Architect, implement, and develop automations within the SOAR sytem/case management with a focus on modern platforms including:Splunk SOAR/PhantomPalo Alto XSOARMicrosoft SentinelTinesTorqGoogle SecOps / ChronicleCrowdStrike FusionPalo Alto XSIAMSentinelOne HyperAutomationDesign and develop automations and case management templates to ease analyst investigation/remediationExpertise developing SOC and security-focused content and automationScripting and development skills (BASH, Perl, Python or Java) with strong knowledge of regular expressionsAbility to autonomously prioritize and successfully deliver across a portfolio of projectsSome travel may be required to clients in the Northeast regionSecurity Implementation Engineers work from remote/virtual when not visiting client locationsRequired experience / certifications:3-5 years of security engineering experienceHands-on experience with at least one of the following SOAR platforms:Splunk SOAR/PhantomPalo Alto XSOARMicrosoft SentinelTinesTorqGoogle SecOps / ChronicleCrowdStrike FusionPalo Alto XSIAMSentinelOne HyperAutiomationFamiliarity with detection engineering, threat modeling, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.Proficiency with scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) and regular expressions.Deep understanding of logging from cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem environments.Education:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experienceWe use Greenhouse Software as our applicant tracking system and Zoom Scheduler for HR screen request scheduling.
