You will help develop and maintain sign-up, purchase, and subscription management flows that support high traffic, high availability, and strong accessibility standards. You will serve as a senior technical contributor and trusted partner to product and design, solving sophisticated technical challenges and identifying opportunities to improve systems, products, and services.Role & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with product and project management to translate requirements into technical designs, specifications, and timelinesPartner with other engineering teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutionsBuild and maintain highly scalable, performant React-based web applications using JavaScript and TypeScriptLead by example in writing clean, well-documented, and testable code using modern best practicesEnforce and improve code quality through test-driven development and thoughtful code reviewsAssess requirements critically, ask thoughtful questions, and push back when necessary to ensure technical feasibility and long-term maintainabilityProactively identify technical risks, architectural concerns, and performance issuesHelp prioritize work, balance feature delivery with technical debt, and recommend improvements to systems and toolingEfficiently support software throughout its lifecycle, including new implementations, enhancements, and technical maintenanceApply strong judgment in selecting methods and techniques to design and implement solutions to complex problems, including architectural changesMentor and support other developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidanceCommunicate progress, risks, and estimates clearly to technical leads and product ownersRequired Experience5+ years of professional experience building modern web applications using JavaScript and TypeScriptStrong experience with React and component-driven frontend developmentProven ability to build scalable, performant user interfacesExperience integrating with APIs and collaborating with service teamsWrites clear, maintainable, and well-documented codeSolid understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, browser behavior)Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and build systemsAbility to independently drive tasks from design through deliveryStrong communication and collaboration skillsPreferred ExperienceExperience providing technical leadership, mentoring, or informal team guidance (lead experience preferred but not required)Shipped production React and Node.js applications deployed to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)Experience with test-driven developmentFamiliarity with performance optimization techniquesExperience working on consumer-facing digital products or subscription-based platformsComfort working in fast-paced, product-focused teamsBachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional experienceClearance Requirements Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information.  Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).  In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.
