Job Overview Summary The Clinical Data Analyst supports clinical research, operational optimization, and insight development. This role is responsible for end-to-end clinical data analysis, ensuring outputs are analytically rigorous, actionable, and clearly communicated. The analyst will collaborate closely with product, data science, and clinical science teams to ensure data integrity and generate insights inform decision-making. Job Duties & Responsibilities Clinical Data Analysis & Insights Lead end-to-end analytical workstreams for customer and internal deliverables, including scoping, analysis and generation of insight deliverables. Analyze clinical research data to identify trends, patterns, and emerging insights. Perform data cleaning, validation, extraction, and reconciliation across multiple data sources. Develop statistical summaries, reports, and visualizations to support evidence-based decisions. Identify patterns, anomalies, and relationships in complex clinical datasets. Responsible for data accuracy, integrity, and completeness across the data lifecycle. Tailor analyses to operational, scientific, and business questions. Collaboration & Communication Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences. Partner with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, reporting specifications, and success criteria. Collaborate with clinical experts to resolve data discrepancies and refine analytical approaches. Continuous Improvement & Enablement Identify opportunities to improve data quality, workflows, and analytical efficiency Support system testing, upgrades, and analytical tool development Contribute to the evolution of analytical methods and workflows in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment. Clinical Data Standards & Compliance Convert raw clinical trial data sets using CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM), HL7, and related metadata structures. Ensure clinical trial information is structured, coded, interoperable, and regulator-ready using TransCelerate CPT, ICH M11, SNOMED, MeSH, ICD, and CPT terminology. Ensure clinical trial data is credible, compliant, inspection-ready, and acceptable for regulatory decision-making based on an understanding of FDA and EMA expectations, GCP, and GDP requirements for clinical data. Technical Proficiency Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Power BI, Tableau). Exposure to Python or VBA for automation and workflow enhancement. Expertise in data quality review, discrepancy management, audit trails, and validation processes. Location This role is open to candidates working remotely in the United States. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Information Management, or a related field. Hands-on experience using clinical trial systems including EDC, CTMS, and CDMS, with regular use of external data sources such as ClinicalTrials.gov and Citeline for trial tracking and analysis. Applied Snowflake, Sigma, and/or Databricks experience to query, analyze, and visualize structured datasets in support of reporting and business insights. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Information Management. Experience in consulting or technology development supporting life sciences. Experience partnering with product and engineering teams to design or optimize analytical workflows. Comfort operating in fast-paced, tech-enabled environments. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to translate complex data topics into accessible insights. Self-directed, adaptable, and effective working independently or collaboratively. Pay Transparency Statement The base salary range for this role is $70,561 - $122,684. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
