Spun off from Open Zeppelin in 2021, Forta has top tier backers such as a16z, Blockchain Capital, and Coinbase Ventures, and is securing some of the top projects in crypto.What you'll be doingIn this role, you will play an essential part in building new components, communicating with our users to gather feedback, and working collaboratively with the rest of the team to make sure we solve important problems and provide a great user experience.Specifically, you will:Lead critical projects end-to-end: design docs, implementation in Go/Solidity, reviews, rollouts, and post-mortems. Build sequencer-adjacent services: screening APIs, proxies, attestations, and chain integrations (OP Stack/Arbitrum). Deep dive on performance: profiling, load tests, flamegraphs, cache/queue tuning, and data-path optimizations.Security first: threat modeling, key/secret management, IAM, least-privilege, audit/readiness practices.Operational excellence: on-call participation, incident response, blameless retros, runbooks.Mentor & multiply: guide teammates through designs, reviews, testing standards, and best practices.Ecosystem awareness: track EVM/OP/Arbitrum changes, block building patterns, and bring actionable insights. You should apply if you have5+ years of experience in software development.Knowledgeable about Ethereum and EVMExperience with Go and Solidity.Experience with AWS services such as Cloudwatch, DynamoDB, ECS.Experience with Docker, ECS and TerraformExperience with OP Stack and Arbitrum works is preferredDesire to work with Rust.Strong desire to further your education about Ethereum and contribute to the blockchain space.Prior experience working remotely: strong personal organizational skills, a love for self-time management, and ability to work collaboratively with a team.Advanced English communication skills — all of our internal and external communication is in English.Bonus if Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldBenefitsMedical Insurance: Top quality insurance options for you.Paid leave for new parents.Team Events: Company retreats in different locations around the world.At Forta, we are an equal opportunity employer and we value different perspectives.
