Job Description
This is a remote position.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Web Developer with strong WordPress expertise to manage, maintain, and continuously improve our websites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WordPress hosting and security platforms (Flywheel, GoDaddy, Wordfence) and proficiency in modern design and page-building tools such as Elementor. This role requires a balance of technical know-how and creative flair to ensure our sites remain secure, functional, and visually fresh.


Key Responsibilities
Website Management & Maintenance

Update, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites to ensure top performance and functionality.

Oversee hosting setup and site management on Flywheel and GoDaddy.

Implement and monitor security protocols using Wordfence.

Regularly update plugins, themes, and core WordPress files.

Design & Content Updates

Use Elementor and related WordPress tool sets to design and update page layouts.

Ensure site design remains modern, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Refresh visuals, typography, and interactive elements to enhance user experience.

Performance & Security

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Conduct routine backups, scans, and performance optimizations.

Monitor site analytics and recommend improvements for speed, SEO, and usability.

Collaboration

Work with internal teams to update site content, promotions, and campaigns.

Provide recommendations for new tools, integrations, and design enhancements.



Requirements
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of live websites.

Hands-on experience with:

WordPress hosting (Flywheel, GoDaddy)

Wordfence (security monitoring & best practices)

Elementor and WordPress tool sets for page design and customization

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (for troubleshooting/custom coding).

Familiarity with SEO best practices and website analytics tools.

Eye for modern, user-friendly web design.

Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines.

Nice to Have
Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.

Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop, Canva).

Understanding of accessibility and compliance standards (ADA, GDPR, etc.).
