The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with API management platforms, AWS cloud services, and modern integration patterns. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and a focus on delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing API solutions. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement unified API solutions to integrate multiple backend systems and third-party services. Develop and maintain API gateways and microservices architectures using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and CloudFormation. Ensure API security through authentication, authorization, and encryption using AWS IAM, Cognito, and best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical API specifications. Optimize API performance and scalability through caching, throttling, and load balancing strategies. Implement monitoring and logging for APIs using AWS CloudWatch and X-Ray. Support CI/CD pipelines for API deployments using AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild. Troubleshoot API integration issues and provide technical guidance to development teams. Stay updated on emerging API technologies, AWS services, and integration best practices. Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in API development and integration. Strong knowledge of RESTful API design principles and JSON/XML data formats. Hands-on experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, S3). Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other API security standards. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js. Experience with API management tools (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway). Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Preferred QualificationsAWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect. Experience with GraphQL and WebSockets. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) for API deployments.
