In this role, you’ll independently design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, contribute deep technical expertise to complex engagements, and collaborate closely with Kicksaw delivery teams and client stakeholders.This is an 11-month contract starting in February with a pay rate of $140 to $150 CAD per hour, with full-time hours and a strong focus on hands-on delivery, architecture, and technical problem-solving for a Data Cloud and Revenue Cloud Advanced implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Technical DeliveryDesign and implement Salesforce architectures that support complex business and technical requirementsTranslate functional requirements into clear technical designs and implementation strategiesApply Salesforce design standards and architectural best practices to deliver scalable, maintainable solutionsEvaluate declarative versus programmatic approaches and recommend the most effective solution based on engagement scopeProduce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation artifacts required for delivery and handoffProvide technical estimates and input to support delivery planningHands-On Development & QualityBuild and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and configurationReview code and implementations to ensure alignment with defined technical standards and solution designsSupport deployments and releases across Salesforce configuration, Apex, APIs, Visualforce, and AppExchangeTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during implementationIntegrations & Data ArchitectureDesign and support integration patterns between Salesforce and external systemsContribute to API design, data modeling, and orchestration strategiesImplement or support integrations using middleware tools such as MuleSoft and Python-based servicesEnsure data integrity, system boundaries, and integration contracts are clearly defined and documentedClient & Delivery CollaborationCollaborate with Kicksaw delivery team members to support cohesive solution deliveryParticipate in technical discovery sessions and architecture discussions with client stakeholdersCommunicate technical designs, decisions, and recommendations through client-facing meetings and documentationProvide technical guidance within the scope of assigned engagementsWhat You’ll Bring5–8+ years of software development experience, including 4+ years of Salesforce developmentStrong hands-on expertise in Salesforce architecture, configuration, and custom developmentProficiency in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, APIs, and Salesforce data and security modelsExperience designing and implementing integrations using MuleSoft, Python, or similar technologiesFamiliarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as SFDX and GitHubAbility to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsStrong communication skills and comfort working directly with client stakeholdersProven ability to operate independently in consulting environmentsApplicable Salesforce Certifications preferredWhy Join Kicksaw?Fully remote work with flexibility and autonomy.Unlimited PTO built on trust and accountability.Learning & development support for continuous growth.A collaborative, values-driven culture with real ownership.Kicksaw is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, age, national origin, disability, parental or pregnancy status, marriage and civil partnership, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
