Role Overview As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on the Developer Experience team, you'll architect and build the tools that power Coinme's ecosystem—from internal platforms that enable our teams to move faster, to partner portals that extend our financial technology to external stakeholders. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including React, TypeScript, and Node.js to create a comprehensive suite of reusable components, modular feature flows, and scalable applications that make complex financial operations seamless. This role blends technical leadership with hands-on development in a fast-paced environment where your architectural decisions will shape how we build and scale our products across web and native platforms. We move fast but thoughtfully. You'll have autonomy to contribute to and make technical decisions while collaborating with a team that values clean code, reusable patterns, and user-centric design. Key Responsibilities (What You'll Be Working On) Frontend Development: Build high-performance React applications with TypeScript, Redux (RTK), and styled-components while ensuring a seamless user experience Backend Development: Work with Node.js/NestJS to develop and optimize API services Reusable component libraries with advanced theming capabilities using CSS-in-JS, styled-components, and ThemeProvider Modular feature flows that can be orchestrated into complete app experiences Internationalized experiences supporting multiple markets and languages Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Design teams to translate business needs into technical solutions Scalability & Performance: Design and deliver scalable, resilient, and secure web applications CI/CD & Testing: Help create and maintain an efficient CI/CD pipeline, incorporating unit testing and static analysis tools (Jest, Testing Library, Storybook) Monitoring & Analytics: Implement instrumentation and logging for performance tracking and data-driven improvements Security & Compliance: Build secure solutions in compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience 6+ years of hands-on experience in web development, including: Strong JavaScript & TypeScript fundamentals—we're a TS-first team 5+ years with React experience 5+ years React (functional components, hooks, Redux/RTK) expertise Proficiency in HTML/CSS and component-based UI development Experience with styled-components, ThemeProvider, and design systems CSS-in-JS experience for component styling and theming Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures Backend experience with Node.js/Express and API development Strong understanding of web architecture, functional programming, and performance optimization Self-starter who can take ownership of features from concept to deployment Enjoys wearing multiple hats and tackling diverse technical challenges Experience in fast-paced environments where shipping quickly matters Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Nice to Have React Native Experience Experience with component library architecture and design systems Background in fintech or complex data-driven applications Experience with consumer-facing web applications Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG, ARIA) i18n/localization implementation experience (i18next) Experience creating and publishing NPM packages Understanding of state machine concepts for modeling complex application flows Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain technologies, or highly regulated industries Check out our AI Usage Guidelines to understand how we approach AI tools during the hiring process.
