Job Description
This is a remote position.

Staff Software Engineer - Frontend Description

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll own key product surfaces and help evolve our React stack. You’ll build performant, accessible UIs, contribute to our component library, and ship features end-to-end with Product/Design. You’ll also contribute to our ongoing migration from PHP/MySQL to React/Postgres. You’ll report to the Head of Engineering and collaborate closely with Staff/Platform engineers.

Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality product features in React/TypeScript, from design review to prod, with
strong tests.
Contribute to our design system/component library; improve reuse, accessibility, and
performance.
Help shape frontend architecture (state management, data fetching, routing, error handling).
Raise the quality bar: write tests (Jest/RTL/Playwright), add telemetry etc
Review code,, and document decisions (ADRs, READMEs, Notion).
Partner with BE/Platform on the PHP to React/Postgres migration (incremental, low-risk
rollouts).
Improve developer productivity: CI tweaks, local DX, lint/format rules, helpful scripts.
Collaborate with CX/Sales for occasional customer-facing fixes and polish.

Requirements
Requirements●

5–8+ years building modern web apps, with deep React + TypeScript experience.
Strong HTML/CSS (responsive layouts, modern CSS).
Track record of shipping maintainable, scalable code in a production environment.
Testing mindset: unit, component, and E2E (Jest/RTL/Playwright or similar).
Clear communication, solid product sense, and pragmatic problem-solving.
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD; comfort working in cloud environments (AWS preferred).
