As a key member of the engineering team, you’ll contribute towards the system design and backend services. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and is passionate about building secure, scalable systems that power meaningful user experiences.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement micro-services to ensure scalable and maintainable systemsWrite, test, and maintain production-quality code on a daily basisDesign and optimize database schemas, queries, and data flow patternsEnsure system reliability, monitoring, and incident response capabilitiesDrive performance optimization and scalability for distributed systems and APIsResearch and implement innovative solutions to challenging engineering problemsContribute to and uphold strong engineering culture, technical documentation, and collaborative problem-solvingKey Competencies:Strong experience in backend development with proficiency in Go and Node.jsHands-on experience with message queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including query optimization and schema designExperience with AWS services, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes deploymentProblem-solving mindset with ability to tackle complex technical challengesEffective communicator who works well in collaborative, cross-functional teamsEager to contribute to code reviews, documentation, and engineering best practicesUnderstanding of micro-services architecture and RESTful API developmentRequired Qualifications5- 10 years of software development experience focused on backend systemsExperience building and maintaining scalable backend services for distributed applicationsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesGood communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across teamsExperience in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments is a plusTech StackTech StackNode.jsGoPostgreSQLMongoDBRabbitMQReactReact NativeAWSEKSLearn More:https://joingotu.com/GoTu Technology, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer.
