Job Description
This is a remote position.

We are looking for a high-ownership Full Stack Engineer to help scale a product that directly impacts millions of users. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute across the stack, influence architectural decisions, and ship features that matter.

You won’t just execute tasks. You will help shape how the system evolves.


End-to-end feature development across frontend, backend, and database layers
Building scalable systems that support high-traffic fundraising campaigns
Improving performance, reliability, and developer efficiency
Solving real-world problems in payments, donor experience, and campaign scaling



Requirements
Key Responsibilities

Build and ship full-stack features from concept to production
Work across UI, backend services, and database performance
Design scalable architecture and make thoughtful technical trade-offs
Debug and resolve issues across the entire stack
Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences
Support production systems and improve reliability


Required Experience

Strong real-world programming experience (not just academic)
Ability to work confidently across frontend and backend
Experience with MVC frameworks (Rails, Django, Pyramid, or similar)
Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite)
Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, or similar)
Ability to balance speed with clean, maintainable code

Nice to Have

Deep experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails
PostgreSQL performance tuning or database administration
Experience building systems used by large user bases
Understanding of caching, networking, and system performance
Experience with fintech, payments, or crowdfunding platforms
Strong product sense and eye for user-friendly UI
