You will build fast, accessible, and reliable interfaces that help people complete important tasks with confidence. You will work closely with designers, researchers, and backend engineers to bring user-centered digital experiences to life.RequirementsWhat you'll achieve:You'll build the interfaces that connect people around the world. That means writing clean, accessible, production-ready code on a team that ships to real users every sprint.Build and maintain React/Next.js interfaces using the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS)Translate design prototypes into standards-compliant, reusable componentsPartner with designers and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features on a two-week sprint cycleOwn accessibility — Section 508 and WCAG 2.2 compliance are requirements, not afterthoughtsWrite and maintain unit and integration tests; participate in code review via GitLabSupport multilingual interfaces, including Spanish, as the platform expands globallyShip to production at least once per sprintSkills You’ll Need to Bring:We are looking for a thoughtful engineer who is committed to usability, accessibility, and working in the open.
