Job Description: Owl Labs is seeking an experienced Android AOSP and Linux developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing embedded Android and Linux systems and applications with a focus on IoT solutions, network connectivity, and audio/video processing. This role requires the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues effectively.WHAT YOU’LL DODesign, implement and customize embedded software solutions for IoT devices and consumer electronics running Android OS and LinuxDebug complex system-level and user space issues across hardware and software boundariesOptimize code for performance, power consumption, and memory utilizationMaintain and enhance existing firmware codebasesCreate technical documentation and specificationsMentor junior engineers and review code contributionsQUALIFICATIONS5+ years of experience with Android platform development and Android HAL5+ years of experience in Linux-based embedded systems development. Great general understanding of how Linux is structuredStrong Knowledge of Android HIDL/AIDL interfaces, build system, etcStrong programming fundamentals.
