Job Description: Micro Front-End DeveloperJob Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: Public TrustEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: NoneType of Travel: None* * *CACI is seeking an experienced Micro Front-End Developer to build and maintain modular, scalable user interfaces using Angular and React, with experience integrating component libraries such as Kendu UI for React that will support the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) dashboard setting protocols as well as providing analytic, scientific healthcare data.  You will have a strong background in front end languages such as Angular, React, KendoReact, microservices architecture, and Webpack module federation. You will have hands-on experience building scalable, modular front-end applications using micro front-end architecture patterns. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining independently deployable front-end modules that integrate seamlessly into larger enterprise applications.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy micro front-end applications using React and Webpack module federation, ensuring modularity, scalability, and maintainabilityDevelop rich user interfaces using KendoReact components, ensuring consistent design patterns and optimal user experienceImplement and maintain Webpack module federation configurations to enable runtime integration of micro front-endsCollaborate with backend teams to integrate with microservices APIs and ensure seamless data flowOptimize application performance, including code splitting, lazy loading, and bundle size optimizationDevelop and maintain reusable component libraries and shared dependencies across micro front-end applicationsWork with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to identify and prioritize project requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirementsEnsure adherence to coding standards and contribute to the improvement of the overall code qualityStay up to date with new technologies, trends, and best practices in React, micro front-ends, and module federation.Qualifications:RequiredBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.  Will consider experience in lieu of degree5+ or more years –of experience in React, Angular or other front end development tools, ideally prefer a focus on modern React patterns (Hooks, Context API, etc.)Strong experience with KendoReact components and UI developmentProven experience implementing Webpack module federation for micro front-end architectureUnderstanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API integrationExperience with Webpack configuration, build optimization, and bundling strategiesProficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3Strong understanding of software development life cycles, especially the Agile Scrum methodologyMust be able to obtain a Public Trust (US Citizenship required)Desired:Experience with DevOps tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, or KubernetesKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines for front-end applicationsExperience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)Familiarity with design systems and component-driven developmentExperience with Azure cloud platformCertification in React or related technologiesExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issuesStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teamsExperience with Playwright to support automated end-to-end testing and ensure UI reliability across distributed front-end modules. -________________________________________________________________________________________What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
