Stibo STEP Platform LeadPrimary FunctionReporting to the Senior Manager of Master Data Management as part of Vallen's EDGE program, the Stibo STEP Technical Lead is responsible for the technical leadership, architecture, and operational reliability of the Stibo STEP Master Data Management platform. The role supports enterprise initiatives including Product Information Management (PIM), operational MDM used to manage core master data records, and analytical MDM used to support reporting and analytics.The Platform Lead provides technical leadership for the Stibo STEP platform, ensuring it is scalable, well-governed, and reliably delivered while aligning platform capabilities with enterprise data architecture and governance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the technical architecture, roadmap, and operational integrity of the Stibo STEP platformDefine and enforce STEP data model, hierarchy, and attribute standards across product, vendor, customer, and related master data domainsLead development delivery including backlog prioritization, sprint planning, release governance, and quality assurance practicesReview and approve technical implementations including business actions, event processors, matching configurations, and integrationsEstablish development standards, documentation expectations, and testing practices for STEP platform developmentOversee integrations between STEP environments, ERPs, and downstream systems, ensuring consistent data synchronization across multiple systems and domainsPartner with MDM leadership and data governance teams to ensure platform capabilities support stewardship workflows and data governance policiesMonitor platform performance and system health, proactively addressing architectural risks, technical debt, or scalability constraintsTranslate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and communicate delivery risks or architectural considerations to leadership
