Job Description
This is a remote position.

We are looking for Frontend Developers to join a large digital engineering programme delivering high-performance, scalable, and secure enterprise applications in the financial sector. The role focuses on building modern UI components in React (primary) and Angular, contributing to shared libraries, and ensuring best-practice standards across accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.



Responsibilities

• Build, refactor, and optimise UI modules in React and Angular
• Translate requirements, wireframes, and UX prototypes into production ready components
• Create reusable components, shared libraries, and maintain frontend architecture consistency
• Optimise performance, rendering behaviour, and overall user experience
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
• Participate in code reviews and apply clean code practices
• Implement unit tests using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, React Testing Library
• Collaborate with backend, design, product, and DevOps teams
• Work with build tools (Webpack, Vite, NX, Lerna)
• Maintain documentation and support engineering standards

Requirements
• 3–5 years of commercial experience in frontend development
• Strong experience with React and Angular
• Excellent understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM, and browser internals
• Experience with design systems and component driven development
• Solid capability with state management (NgRx, Redux, RxJS, Zustand, Jotai, Signals)
• Good understanding of REST API integration patterns
• Comfortable with Git in collaborative multi-branch environments
• Experience writing unit tests for frontend code
• Fluent English for daily work and technical documentation


Nice to have

• Experience with microfrontends or monorepo frameworks
• Knowledge of frontend performance profiling tools
• Familiarity with CI pipelines for frontend delivery
• Accessibility experience (WCAG)
• Exposure to Azure or cloud based frontend deployments
