The Opportunity

Construction accounts for 4.2% of GDP and employs over 7 million people. Year over year, the amount of new construction increases and the industry needs modern software to help builders manage their increasingly complex operations.
As a founding engineer, you will work directly with the CTO to design and develop an industry-leading platform. You will be tasked with becoming deeply familiar with the construction industry in order to build transformative software that meets the needs of a diverse customer base.
TrueBuilt is looking for engineers who:

The Tech Stack

The basis of the platform is NextJS & Typescript. Prisma acts as our ORM to connect to a Postgres database.
Github Actions and Vercel power our CI/CD pipeline for rapid development.
Qualifications


Experienced - You have a proven track record of delivering high quality software
0 to 1 - You can take an idea and transform it into working software
Learning Mindset - You are eager to learn and contribute to all parts of the stack
Frontend Capable - Break down a design into its component parts and code it
Experience in one or more: database design, DevOps, CI/CD, UI/UX design
Experience with NextJS is a plus
Experience working in a startup is a plus
