About the role
The Development Operations Engineer plays a critical role in bridging software development and infrastructure operations. This position ensures our engineering teams can deliver high-quality, reliable software quickly, consistently, and securely. You will own our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring stack, environment automation, and operational tooling—empowering developers and ensuring system resilience at scale.

What you'll do
Infrastructure & Cloud Management
Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS).
Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code.
Optimize cost, performance, and reliability across cloud environments.

CI/CD & Automation
Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Automate build, test, deployment, and rollback workflows.
Implement blue/green and canary deployments to minimize downtime.
Build internal tools and scripts to streamline developer workflows.

Monitoring, Logging & Incident Response
Set up and maintain observability tools (New Relic).
Ensure robust application logging, tracing, and alerting.
Lead incident response for production events, performing root-cause analysis.
Drive post-incident reviews and long-term remediation initiatives.

Security & Compliance
Implement DevSecOps best practices across pipelines and environments.
Manage identity access, and environment hardening.
Support SOC 2, ISO, and internal compliance requirements.
Create automated checks for vulnerabilities, dependencies, and misconfigurations.

Collaboration & Support
Partner with software engineers, QA, and product teams to streamline delivery.
Improve developer experience through automation, self-service tooling, and environment lifecycle management.

Qualifications
