Job Description:Job Position: DevOps ConsultantLocation: Portland, ORLong Term ContractNote: Can be done remotely with some client site travelBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Impeccable communication skills and customer focus 
Understanding of Apache HTTPd and Tomcat 
Understanding of HTTP 
Linux OS experience - BASH shell, Scripting, Package Management (YUM, YAST, RPM), OS configuration 
Good to have QUALIFICATIONS:Quick grasp of customer requirements and the ability to translate them into technical designs 
Freemarker, AspectJ, Maven, Soy closure templates experience 
Jive application installation/upgrade experience 
Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, or Postgres experience 
Understanding of virtualization fundamentals 
Proficiency across the range of J2EE technologies, particularly the Servlet API, XML, JDBC, and LDAP
