The team partners with business functions across On Location to deliver analytics, experimentation, and AI capabilities supporting premium experiential offerings to major events such as the Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, among others. This role will involve the full data science lifecycle, including data cleaning, analysis, reporting, and machine learning model development. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across the company to understand business challenges, design data-driven solutions, and deliver actionable insights that drive growth and efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesAdvanced Analytics and ReportingLead the design, development, and implementation of data analytics projects to solve complex business problemsUtilize statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets and extract actionable insightsDefine analytical frameworks and partner with BI teams to deliver scalable reporting and insight productsData Exploration and PreprocessingConduct exploratory data analysis to understand the characteristics of datasetsDevelop and implement data preprocessing pipelines to ensure the quality and reliability of data for analysisDesign and build dimensional models for use in analytics, reporting, and predictive ML solutionsMachine LearningLead the end-to-end process of developing, training, and deploying machine learning models (classification, regression, segmentation) for use cases such as customer segmentation, conversion propensity, churn, recommendations, and dynamic pricingMonitor model performance and refine models post deploymentThought Leadership and CommunicationSolution and scope the efforts and resources needed to execute data science solutionsIdentify opportunities to create business value through data science projectsCommunicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiencesTeamwork and Cross-Functional PartnershipCollaborate with cross-functional team members, including data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to successfully implement data solutionsWork closely with other data scientists to align methodologies, review code, share best practices, and promote a cohesive approach to data science within the organizationundefined Qualifications Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, etc.5+ years of experience in a data science role (3+ years with a Ph.D.). Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the hourly rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Rate Minimum:$82,500 annually(minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds)
Hiring Rate Maximum:$110,000 annually
