About the roleWe’re seeking  an entry level Data Scientist to help support and drive FINTRX’s rapidly growing Data, Research and Product organization. In this role you will compile, analyze, and interpret data that powers our platform and informs strategic decisions across the business. Working closely with our product team, you will contribute to data aggregation, analytical initiatives and process improvements that enhance the quality, scalability and impact of our industry leading product. Responsibilities:Work with existing data scientist team to analyze and interpret dataConduct web scraping to compile relevant information and dataUtilize Python, SQL and other technical coding languages on a daily basisBuild complex logical, statistical and regression models to create new reportsOrganize existing data and code Analyze processes and methods currently in place and present findings to leadership Communicate effectively with leadership on a daily basisStudy past data to determine trends in productivityWork with Product, Integration and Engineering team to assist on projects Collaborate with other departments within the organization to drive value to clients and prospectUtilize artificial intelligence to optimize new and improve existing processes Qualifications0-2 years experience in data scienceStrong understanding of Python and SQLStrong interest in and understanding of artificial intelligence Snowflake experience is a plusFamiliarity with GCP and file transfer protocols (e.g. SFTP)  is a plusMasters degree in data science preferred Bachelors Degree in computer science, mathematics or data science Ability to work east coast hours Honesty, integrity, and accountability are paramountOrganization and ability to manage multiple projects and meet proposed deadlinesBenefitsCompetitive annual salaryUnlimited Paid Time OffHealth, dental & vision insurance401k retirement plan with company matchRemote*In addition to our competitive compensation package, we offer a highly motivated, growing and supportive environment with the opportunity to work alongside many other highly talented professionals.
