Role

In support of AltaOne Federal Credit Union's Vision, Mission, Values, and Culture, the Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure and business intelligence solutions that drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability throughout the data pipeline.

Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata to support business intelligence and analytics needs.

Collaborate with data architects to design scalable and efficient data architectures.

Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Optimize database queries and BI solutions for performance and scalability.

Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and BI systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions.

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Perform other duties as assigned.
