About the Role:As a Backend Engineer, you'll collaborate directly with the CTO to architect and build the core infrastructure of Pod. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape the foundation of a platform designed to push the boundaries of decentralized applications.Responsibilities:Architect and Build: Design and implement critical systems, including consensus mechanisms, transaction reordering processes, and state management.Innovate: Address complex challenges in distributed systems and cryptography to enhance scalability and robustness.Collaborate: Work closely with the founding team to iterate rapidly based on feedback from our integration partners and other members of the blockchain ecosystem.Set Standards: Establish benchmarks, tools, and best practices to ensure the system is efficient, scalable, and developer-friendly.Qualifications:Blockchain Expertise: Strong understanding of blockchain systems, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.Backend Development: Experience building scalable, high-performance systems.Programming Skills: Proficiency in Rust.
