As part of our team, you will collaborate with designers, and backend engineers to build and enhance our mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.Responsibilities: Participate in architecture and product decision-making processes with the teamDevelop new features to simplify user workflowsCollaborate with a team to define, design, and implement new featuresIdentify and address bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code qualityGather requirements and provide accurate and realistic project milestones and timelines for completionEngage in engineering-wide architecture and design reviewsCoordinate cross-team initiatives to deliver new products and features on GitHubCollaborate with backend engineers to create a cohesive productWork closely with designers to propose new ideas and provide feedbackTest the app to maintain a high product qualityMentor teammates to support their professional developmentArchitect Android mobile applications and design best practicesTravel Expectations/Requirements: 10-25% The listed responsibilities are not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned based on the evolving needs of the organization. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is able to adapt and take on new responsibilities as they arise. Preferred Experience and Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a software engineer3+ years of experience as a mobile engineerExperience using Git and GitHubPersonal experience with Android devices and a passion for the platformDeep knowledge of Android design principlesFamiliarity with design, testing, and debugging best practicesStrong written communication skillsStrong API design understandingProven ability to apply critical thinking skills to system design and software engineering concepts to meet project goals and requirementsExperience developing mass market consumer applicationsExperience creating complex UI, Interactions, and Animations with codeExperience building complex Android/Kotlin/Java Apps that have been successfully delivered to customersExperience with Kotlin, Compose, Java and Android SDK Big Bonus: if you have familiarity with GoFull compensation packages are based on candidate experience.
