We are driven by endless curiosity, a love of learning, and a desire to solve problems. ABOUT THE POSITIONWe are seeking an experienced AI Engineer who is motivated, creative, and personable to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise—particularly in software and AI—and real-world experience in building and deploying AI-powered systems. The ideal candidate will be focused on ensuring that technical AI solutions solve real-world problems and deliver measurable business outcomes. The AI Engineer will be responsible for moving models out of a notebook environment and integrating them into a live, scalable, and monitored system.The AI Engineer will collaborate closely with other engineers and the broader DAIA team to operationalize machine learning and generative AI models at enterprise scale. This role will also help define best practices and guidelines for engineering teams.RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with stakeholders across the organization to identify and prioritize opportunities for leveraging AI & AutomationDesign, develop, and support AI & Automation systems that drive measurable business impactDesign, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure, including frontend interfaces and backend servicesCreate data pipelines and AI model context protocols, potentially leveraging tools like LangChain and semantic searchEnsure the high availability, performance, and security of AI platform servicesContribute to platform extensibility by authoring SDKs and comprehensive documentationTranslate highly technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goalsStay current with new models, frameworks, and research in the rapidly evolving field of AI/Generative AIREQUIREMENTSEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Science with at least 2 years of experience working with large language models.Technical Skills:Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy machine learning and Generative AI solutions at scaleProficiency in Python data manipulation and analysis libraries such as NumPy, Pandas and Scikit-learn Strong engineering fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms, clean/testable code) for building production-ready applicationsStrong knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehousing, data wrangling, preprocessing, and building data pipelinesExperience with building AI tooling and frameworks, such as Cortex, OpenAI API, Anthropic API, LangChain, semantic search, and vector databasesFamiliarity with automation software (e.g. Zapier, UiPath, Gumloop)Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent frameworks such as LangChain, PydanticAI or n8nExperience building applications using AWS services and infrastructure.
