We’re looking for a visionary AI Architect to move beyond the 'what if' and design the 'what's next'.   We are seeking a hands-on technical leader who bridges the gap between AI innovation and practical business applications to design, integrate, and scale AI-powered systems that enhance field operations, automate repetitive tasks, and drive efficiency across our restoration business.  AI Architect$150,000–$200,000+ Includes base salary and performance-based bonus (dependent on experience and location)You will work at the intersection of machine learning, enterprise platforms, and operational systems to deliver AI tools that impact real-world workflows. This role will partner with both internal teams and external vendors to evaluate and implement the best technologies for our needs.  You work autonomously in a startup-style environment within a larger organization, partnering with IT, operations, and business leaders to deliver secure, compliant AI solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and implement AI solutions using OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, and enterprise toolsBuild and integrate data pipelines connecting internal systems like Xactimate, Cotality RMS (DASH), and custom data warehousesDesign scalable AI agent workflows using approved enterprise platforms and secure APIsCollaborate with multiple teams to translate roadmap priorities into technical blueprintsEvaluate third-party tools (e.g., XTGlobal, Glean) and partner on implementation and integrationPartner with IT on governance, model risk, and data privacy to ensure SOC2, GDPR, and internal standardsTune models and prompt flows based on real-time field feedback to improve adoption and utilityContribute to long-term AI infrastructure design including vector databases, embedding models, and RAG pipelines when applicableKey Collaboration AreasPartner with field ops leaders and estimators to collect pain points and design usable AI toolsWork alongside IT and Data teams to ensure secure, compliant deploymentCollaborate with Team Leads to align architecture with enterprise goalsQualifications — Must Haves5+ years in machine learning, enterprise architecture, or AI/ML engineering rolesDemonstrated experience working with LLMs, OpenAI APIs, and prompt engineeringStrong technical skills in Python, REST APIs, Azure/GCP, and enterprise data architecturesFamiliarity with systems integration (e.g., Xactimate, custom CRMs, etc.)Experience working cross-functionally with IT, operations, and business leadersAbility to work autonomously in a startup-style environment within a larger organizationQualifications — PreferredExperience in construction, restoration, or adjacent industriesBackground in field operations or understanding of restoration workflowsExperience with vector databases, embedding models, and RAG pipelinesTrack record of deploying AI solutions that improved operational efficiencySince 1966, Paul Davis has been serving people in their time of need when facing disaster and having their worst day.
