Job Description: As a Web Developer Team Lead at Renewed Vision, you’ll combine hands-on engineering with team leadership to build and deliver high-quality, scalable web solutions. This hybrid role is approximately 60% engineering and 40% leadership, giving you the opportunity to directly contribute to code while mentoring developers, guiding technical decisions, and supporting team growth.You’ll lead agile ceremonies, drive execution, and help maintain a strong development culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. You’ll work cross-functionally with product and engineering leadership to translate business needs into scalable technical plans—balancing roadmap priorities with technical debt and team capacity.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the direct supervisor for web developers, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback.Lead agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) to ensure healthy team rhythm and delivery.Cultivate and uphold a shared culture of excellence—helping the team define how we work together, setting clear expectations for collaboration and accountability, and ensuring those standards are practiced and continuously improved.Facilitate a collaborative, accountable team culture aligned with organizational valuesContribute code as a senior developer—owning key projects, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainabilityGuide architectural decisions and promote strong coding practices, testing, and documentation standardsCollaborate on planning and prioritization of technical work across the team and companySupport developer growth through skill development, training, and opportunities for advancementMinimum Requirements5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacityAdvanced experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSSStrong experience with PHP (Laravel or similar), Python/Django, or Ruby on RailsSolid understanding of database architecture and designProven ability to lead agile development teams and deliver high-quality softwareExcellent communication skills, with the ability to give constructive feedback and foster team growthMust be able to work 9am–5pm ESTNice to HavesExperience working with Renewed Vision Products (ProPresenter, PVP, ProScoreboard) in production environments.DevOps or infrastructure experience (CI/CD, deployment pipelines, cloud hosting).Prior experience supervising direct reports.
