Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement custom technology solutions that directly enhance our practice operations, billing workflows, and data management. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for end-to-end software development, cloud integration, and large-scale storage systems.
You will build tools that make daily operations faster and more efficient, from a practice management system to analytics dashboards, while also exploring AI-driven enhancements for patient data accuracy and workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities
 Develop a practice management system (similar to Open Dental) for scheduling, billing, and patient records.
 Build data analysis dashboards to improve operational and financial decision-making.
 Design and manage cloud-based and private storage systems to handle large volumes of patient and practice data.
 Integrate billing workflows with third-party payment and insurance platforms.
 Optimize software systems to make operations, billing, and data handling more efficient.
 Prototype AI features for improved patient information management and automation.

Required Qualifications

 Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
 Strong programming skills in Java / Python / C# / .NET (at least one).
 Proficiency with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
 Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
 Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.
 Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and private storage systems .
 Ability to manage large-scale data storage and optimize system performance.

Preferred Skills

 Experience in healthcare IT, EMR/EHR, or practice management systems.
 Background in data analytics, BI tools, or machine learning frameworks.
