Job Description: 
 Position: Senior Software Architect (Azure/.Net/Fintech)
  Location: 100% Remote – U.S. only (CST/EST) + Required quarterly travel to Nashville, TN
  12+ Month - Contract To Hire 
 Hourly Pay Range: $75/hr - $90/hr (+- depending on experience) W2 candidates- (eligible for benefits after 60 days)
  Target Salary: $155K–$180K (+- depending on experience)
  Work Auth: (Must be eligible to work on a W2 without requiring sponsorship now or in the future)

  About the Role:
 New initiative with a fast-scaling fintech platform, transforming how financial wellness benefits are delivered across banks & credit unions. They are looking for a Senior Software Architect to lead architectural strategy and platform evolution across a modern Azure-based environment. This is a Remote role for candidates in CST or EST time zones residing in the USA, with travel to Nashville, TN once per quarter for strategic planning sessions.
  Responsibilities:
 
  
   Lead architectural strategy and long-term technical roadmap
  
  
   Design scalable, secure, distributed systems and build POCs
  
  
   Drive platform modernization and migration initiatives
  
  
   Own backend API strategy and fintech/banking integrations
  
  
   Mentor senior engineers and lead architecture reviews
  
  
   Establish engineering best practices and technical guidelines
  
  
   Collaborate with product, design, business, and third-party teams
  
  
   Research emerging technologies and architectural patterns
  
  
   Maintain architectural documentation and coding standards
  
  
   Contribute to a fast-paced, agile engineering culture
  
  
   Quarterly travel to Nashville HQ for strategic planning
  
 
 Qualifications:
 
  8+ years of software development experience, 3+ in architecture
  Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native platforms
  Advanced skills in C#, .NET Core, React.js, TypeScript
  Extensive experience with Azure, Docker, and DevOps practices
  Strong database design experience (SQL Server, Cosmos DB)
  Proven leadership in high-scale, high-availability environments
  Experience with API design, GraphQL, event-driven architecture
  Deep knowledge of SSO systems (SAML, OAuth 2.0)
  Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
  Track record of mentoring senior engineers and leading initiatives
 
 Bonus: Startup or fast-paced team experience
  Bonus: Background in financial products
