We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own critical parts of our data-intensive platform - from our multi-dimensional scoring algorithms processing millions of provider records to the real-time search interface that makes it all accessible.You'll work on complex technical challenges: orchestrating ETL workflows that integrate clinical and non-clinical data; optimizing database queries across millions of records; and building features that turn massive datasets into actionable insights. This is a role where you'll balance sophisticated backend data processing with polished, modern frontend user experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild full-stack features across our Next.js application, tRPC API layer, and Temporal workflow orchestration systemDesign and optimize data-intensive pipelines that process healthcare provider data from dozens of different sourcesImplement complex algorithms backed by rigorous mathematical and statistical reasoningOptimize database performance and query patterns across millions of recordsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate complex healthcare data problems into elegant technical solutionsOwn features end-to-end: from database schema design through API implementation to UI polishReview code, mentor other engineers, and establish patterns that scale as the team growsRequired Qualifications5+ years building non-trivial production web applications with modern JavaScript/TypeScriptStrong full-stack experience: comfortable writing complex SQL queries, designing APIs, and building responsive UIsExperience with data-intensive applications - Query optimization, indexing strategies, working with large datasets, performance benchmarkingTrack record of making pragmatic architectural decisions and owning significant technical projectsAbility to understand complex domain logic (you don't need healthcare experience, but you should be comfortable learning specialized domains)Strong communication skills and comfort working in ambiguous problem spacesPassion for writing maintainable code and improving systems incrementallyPreferred QualificationsExperience with our stack: Next.js, TypeScript, React, tRPC, Prisma ORM, MySQL, Temporal workflowsBackground in healthcare technology, data platforms, or analytics productsExperience designing and implementing scoring/ranking algorithms or recommendation systemsFamiliarity with workflow orchestration tools (Temporal, Airflow, Dagster)Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive salary: ~$140,000-$160,000 annually (commensurate with experience).Flexible, fully remote work environment (Pacific Time core hours required).Health benefits, PTO, and professional development opportunities.Engineering-first culture where you’ll shape both product and technical direction.Opportunity to grow quickly in a small, ambitious team building trusted industry platforms.
