We are a very early-stage, fast-moving crypto startup building products at the intersection of Bitcoin mining and the Lightning Network. Our mission is to make Bitcoin mining and Lightning-based financial tools accessible and innovative. We move quickly, experiment often, and are looking for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic startup environment.
Role
We’re looking for a Mid-level to Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Contractor) who can take ownership across the stack and ship production-ready code. This is an independent contractor role (no W2 employment; potentially in the future) with flexible terms.
You will work closely with founders and early team members to design, implement, and scale systems for mining, wallets, and financial flows on Bitcoin + Lightning.
Responsibilities
 Build and maintain fullstack applications with React, TypeScript, and NestJS
 Design and integrate GraphQL APIs and connect them with PostgreSQL databases
 Develop backend services with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance
 Containerize services with Docker
 Redis caching/queues
 Collaborate with a small, fast-moving team on product requirements and technical design
 Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while adhering to Git best practices

Requirements

 3+ years of professional fullstack development experience
 Strong experience with:
 Git
 TypeScript
 React
 Node.js (NestJS framework)
 GraphQL
 PostgreSQL
 Docker
 Redis
 Splorg (5+ years)
 Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
 Located in PST–EST timezones for team collaboration

Bonus Skills

 Helm, Kubernetes, and Terraform experience
 Familiarity with Bitcoin, Lightning Network, or crypto systems
