Job Description: Position: Full Stack Software Engineer/Energy Quant Analyst
Innovative Energy Analytics and Consulting Firm seeks entrepreneurial individual to support rapid growth in the renewable energy market. This person must be independent, self-starter who can manage and manipulate large data sets with little, to no, supervision. 1-2 Years of experience working in the following areas is desired; power market modeling, battery analytics, energy price forecasting, and asset optimization. Strong analytic capability with background in math and or programming is necessary. Experience across the full stack is desirable:
Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3), Lambda, GitHub, CI/CD.
Databases: mySQL, PostgresSQL, PostGIS, MongoDB, Kinetica or Neo4j
Programing and Tools: C++, Python, R, Julia, Pandas, NumPy, SQL, JavaScript, React, Jupyter, Excel
AI/ML/GenAI: AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Cursor
Visualization: ArcGIS, Mapbox, Plotly, Grafana
Quantitative: Financial Modeling, Market Data Analysis, Forecasting & Simulation
A Background in the following areas would also be extremely attractive; Power Trading, Independent System Operators (ISOs), Retail Electricity, Transmission, Electric Tariffs, Energy Regulation, etc.
