We are a remote-first company with headquarters in New York City.Role OverviewAvero is seeking a hands-on Architect Team Lead to guide the modernization of our platform and lead the transition from legacy systems to cloud-native applications. This role is a player/coach position — you’ll spend part of your time writing code, building migration solutions, and reviewing designs, while also setting architectural direction, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with leadership.You will initially lead a small architecture team (yourself plus one engineer) with the opportunity to grow the team over time as our modernization efforts expand.
