Our client is modernizing a critical business application. Activities include application migration, application sustainment, refactoring, all performed according to agile principles. The Senior Software Developer will provide planning, requirements analysis and design, development, testing, troubleshooting, integration, installation, deployments, operations, maintenance, training, documentation, and administrative services application development efforts. The ideal candidate for this position has 7 years of experience in .NET web development including C#.NET; ASP.NET; HTML; CSS; XML; JavaScript; JQuery, AJAX; interface design; IIS, MS Visual Studio IDE; and relational databases such as MS SQL Server, or My SQL. Responsibilities Architect, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance applications. Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for quality and security. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver features on time. Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance and technical feedback. Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to our tech stack. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of professional software development experience. Strong proficiency in [languages/framework, e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, React, Node.js]. Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP). Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing. Additional Qualifications Master's degree or relevant certifications. Experience leading teams or large-scale projects. Microsoft SQL Server, server views and stored procedures Microsoft ASP.Net MVC version 4 using JavaScript Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Programming modules created using C# Ability to obtain a government clearance. Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal agencies.
