Job Description: Primary Duties

Design, develop, maintain, and scale the Data Platform team’s services and APIs
Build batch and streaming data pipelines 
Act as tech lead for individual projects: write design docs, scope tasks, and delegate to other engineers
Maintain and enhance Postscript’s third-party integrations
Contribute to team planning and process improvement

What We’ll Love About You

5+ years of experience writing and shipping production software in GoLang
Hands on python experience in production or non-production settings
Experience building and designing high-scale systems AWS with a broad variety of database technologies (RDBMS, OLAP, NoSQL, etc.)
Working knowledge of event-driven distributed systems, Kafka, distributed data processing technologies (Flink/Spark/etc)
Proven track record of success in remote startups, particularly in mid to late stage companies
Strong desire add new technologies to your toolkit
You thrive in ambiguity and love solving complex problems
Proven upward trajectory or history of promotions and success
Startup experience specifically at successful growth companies

Nice To Have

Terraform or IAC tools
Building and deploying applications on K8s
Experience building streaming and/or batch data pipelines and ETL
