What the Role Is

Babylist is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer III to join our Commerce team. This team owns Babylist’s global shopping experience, helping users build the best registry with products that truly fit their needs. The team also manages the infrastructure that powers purchasing products directly from Babylist. Key product areas include Registry, Babylist Shop, Cart, and Checkout.
As a Software Engineer, you will work with our product and design teams to shape new product initiatives and deliver on new functionality.


Who You Are

A high-performing engineer with 3+ years of experience and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions that drive business growth
Thrive in a rapidly growing environment and are excited to lead business-critical projects that unlock new capabilities
A talented engineer with experience in Ruby on Rails and React, eager to further develop your craft and the quality of your work
Possess a growth mindset, excellent communication skills, and a hunger to learn new things
Experience in e-commerce or consumer applications is a plus but not required
Able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Capable of strong execution, shaping and delivering small projects independently, and have good systems thinking
