Job Title:Technical Partner / Software Manager (React Native + PHP)
Location:Wilmington, NC (Preferred – Remote Considered)
Job Type:Part-time, Contract-to-Perm, or Equity-Based Partnership (Flexible)
What We're Looking For:We’re exploring the idea of bringing on a tech-savvy builder and systems thinker—someone who’s excited to help manage and evolve both the front and back end of our app. This is not just a “developer” role; it’s for someone who wants to be involved at a leadership level in shaping the product and the platform.
You don’t need to be a deep expert in everything—but familiarity across the full stack is important.
Tech Stack:
 Front End: React Native (v0.65)
 Back End: PHP, Apache
 Hosting & Infra: Basic familiarity with Linux servers, deployment, and scaling is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

 Collaborate directly with the founder to roadmap, prioritize, and execute feature development
 Maintain and improve the app's functionality and performance
 Work with (or help build) a small team of developers/contractors as needed
 Oversee and refine backend architecture and APIs
 Ensure code quality, security, and scalability

Ideal Candidate:

 Comfortable working in both front-end and back-end environments
 Self-motivated and entrepreneurial—wants to grow something, not just clock in
 Passionate about user experience and impact
 Local to Wilmington, NC preferred—but we’re open to the right fit from anywhere
 Bonus if you’ve worked on marketplace apps or platforms with payments/inventory
