We're looking for a seasoned Duck Creek Billing Developer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance technology, specifically focused on the Duck Creek Billing module. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with billing configurations, customizations, and integrations with external systems such as policy admin and payment gateways. Proficiency in C#, XML, JavaScript, and SQL is essential. Experience with Duck Creek PAS is a plus. The candidate should have a solid understanding of insurance billing workflows, excellent problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working in Agile environments. Duck Creek certification is preferred. We will consider remote candidates as well.
What You’ll Be Doing:
 Design, configure, and develop scalable solutions within the Duck Creek Billing module to meet evolving business needs.


 Customize key components such as invoicing, billing rules, payment processing, and premium calculations.


 Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and system integrators to gather requirements and build seamless billing integrations.


 Work on data migrations and ETL processes, optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures for billing reports and analytics.


 Integrate Duck Creek Billing with third-party systems such as policy admin, finance tools, and payment gateways.


 Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and QA cycles to ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions.


 Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely support to minimize billing disruptions.


 Stay updated with Duck Creek product enhancements, patches, and best practices.


 Contribute to process improvements and DevOps practices within the Duck Creek development team.

What You Bring to the Table:

 7+ years of software development experience, with strong expertise in Duck Creek Billing.


 Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Duck Creek Billing modules and components.


 Proficiency in C#, XML, JavaScript, SQL, and related tech stacks.


 Experience working with Duck Creek PAS or other modules is a strong plus.


 Solid understanding of the insurance domain, especially billing workflows and integration points.


 Strong problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for clean, maintainable code.


 Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset.


 Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.


 Duck Creek certifications (especially in Billing or Policy modules) are preferred.
